In September, we launched our new Squirrel section, which has been going from strength to strength with our first young people now invested in the movement. Since the start of 2024, the group has seen an increase in young people from across Winshill and surrounding areas joining in and participating in Scouting activities ranging from section nights, day trips and camps.
Following recent growth across all of our sections and the current Beaver Colony hitting capacity, we have decided to open a second Beaver Colony and ensure we maintain a small/ no waiting list. This new Colony will run parallel to our existing one and meet on Wednesday evenings from 18:00 to 19:15.
